Qualities of a Leader

Part 1

1. Think about the qualities you think essential for a great leader. For this assignment, do NOT seek other opinions or do research of any kind. Only use your own knowledge.

2. Write down at least 5 essential traits, values, strengths, etc., that any strong leader MUST have.

3. For each of these items, provide a short explanation of why it's important - just a few sentences at most.

4. Finally, provide an example of this quality in action. Basically, where have you seen this trait in action? Who showed you the importance of this quality? This person can be historical, fictional, or contemporary. He/She can be someone you know personally or someone you have only seen from afar.

5. Bring this list to the next class ready to discuss.
